Nigerians see nothing wrong with corruption says Agency boss
The Independent Corrupt Practices and
Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC)
has said that Nigerians see nothing incorrectly
with debasement.
The comment was made by ICPC Chairman » ,
Ekpo Nta while accepting understudies of
Government Secondary School, Kubwa, Abuja on
Tuesday, June 14, 2016, Punch reports.
"You see one Nigerian taking billions of naira
what's more, dollars that could have been utilized for
training and the development of extensions and the
incongruity of it is that numerous Nigerians don't see
anything awful in it. They legitimize it," he said.
"Now and again, they say it is uneven; why are you
not touching this individual? In any case, we ask this
question: We have such a variety of equipped looters and
ruffians out there. Have we captured all the
burglars in the meantime? It is just when one is
gotten that he is captured and that is what is
happening in this circumstance," he included.
Nta additionally encouraged the understudies to disregard defilement
in each conceivable way.
