A shocking investigation at a Colorado high school found that at least 100 students had been trading nude pictures of themselves and others using secret apps on their phones to hide their activity from their parents and teachers. The investigation, which began Monday (Nov. 2) at Cañon City High School, found that the students — some as young as eighth grade — had been trading hundreds of pictures using a secret “photo vault” app that looks like a calculator. Many of the illicit photos had been taken on school property, and since several of the photos depicted members of the school’s football team, this weekend’s upcoming football game has been cancelled. George Welsh, the superintendent of the Cañon City School District, spoke with The New York Times about how the photos were discovered. “I do believe one of our high school assistant principals was familiar with this particular app,” he said. A labourer reportedly employed at the Enugu House of Representatives, has died after suffering a snake bite. The sad occurrence happened at the Enugu House of Assembly, as an unidentified manual labourer bitten by a wounded snake as he worked at the assembly complex died. The labourer, who was from Abakiliki in Ebonyi State and his colleagues were brought from “Ogbo Mmanu”, a popular hub for manual labourers in Enugu, on Wednesday afternoon to clear the thick grasses that had taken over the House of Assembly complex. An eyewitness told Daily Sun that as the labourers worked they saw a big snake, which one of them used his knife to cut into two halves, but the head of the snake ran away to bite one of the labourers. Nigerian police said they arrested more than 80 members of a Biafran separatist movement on Friday during one of a series of protests across the oil-rich southeast against the detention of the group's leader. The 78 men and five women were detained in a motorpark in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa state, "because they want to foment troubles and unleash mayhem" said Bayelsa police spokesman Anisim Butswat. Witnesses reported other rallies in at least four other areas, and one activist said police fired tear gas at marchers from Imo state walking to Bayelsa state border, though there was no independent confirmation. The Chief Judge of Edo State, Justice Cromwell Idahosa, on Friday ordered the release of four prison inmates. Idahosa gave the directive during visits to prison in Ubiaja in Esan South-East Local Government of the state. They are 52-year old trado-medical practitioner, Christopher Eborimen and one Maria Oboze , who is mentally challenged. The others freed from Auchi prison were Paul Lawani and Osumah Yusuf . NAN recalls that the Idahosa had freed six inmates at Benin Central Prison and eight at Oko prison during his visits there.
