Buratai Weeps At the Burial of the Fallen Heroes. Read His Speech

Lt Gen Tukur Buratai The Chief Of Army Staff yesterday wept as he read  his tribute  speech which was at an emotional one at the burial of seven soldiers killed in a Boko Haram attack at Malam Fotori, Borno state last week Friday. Giving his speech at the National burial organized for the soldiers at the National cemetery, Buratai lost control of his emotions while reading his tribute to the soldiers. Part of the tribute reads;     "Here lie the bodies of our fallen heroes; Lt. Co. Muhammad Abu Ali, Staff Sgt. Muazu Ibrahim, Sgt Husseini Jafaru, Sgt Okon Bassey, Cpl Chukwu Simon, PTE Salishu Lawal, and Able Seaman PatrickPaul. Woman Dies after been pushed in Front of a train by another Woman

A 30-year-old woman, Melanie Liverpool-Turner wasarrested for pushing another woman, 49 year old Connie Watton, in front of a moving subway train in New York.Witnesses said Liverpool-Turner, had been arguing with Watton, at the Times Square-42nd Street stationon Monday. Police said the two women did not knoweach other.Police spokeswoman said they were both standing on the downtown platform of the 1 train arguing when all of a sudden, Watton was shoved onto the tracks at around 1.20pm and pronounced dead on the scene shortly afterwards,Metropolitan Transportation Authority worker said Liverpool-Turner looked 'proud' as she was led away by police officers.One witness said she saw Turner get arrested. Sani Bello and Abubakar Abdullahi  have been admitted in the University Hospital Egypt following serious accidents.They are from Kano State ,Nigeria.      Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his delegation  team led by the Nigerian Ambassador to Egypt, Mohammed Abdulkadir Maccido visited the injured students at the hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.His excellency Governor Ganduje, who arrived  Egypt's Capital yesterday  on an official visit, sympathized with the students and prayed for Allah to continue to heal them well so they can return to their normal daily activities and conclude their studies and return home.    The Governor also promised to pay and take responsiblility of the ticket fair of the parents to be able to visit their kids to see for themselves the conditions they are in.Sani Bello, whose condition was the most critical was in a comma for 3 days before being resuscitated by t...

African Man Attacked in Brussels, His eyes gouged out

An 33-year-old African national had his eyes gougedout in an attack in Brussels, on Sunday, November 6th, local media report. The man identified as Liban Moustapha Hassan was taken to a hospital after an eyewitness called police, but his assailant fled, and their identity and motive are still unknown.The man was found with his face covered in blood lying in the street in Brussels’ Ixelles neighborhood at around 3am on Sunday, local news outlet Derniere heure reports.A passerby saw the injured man and notified the emergency services and police. When they arrived, they realized that the man’s eyes had been torn out. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but it’s been reported that he has survived his injuries.The victim’s eyes were discovered right next to where he was found by officers examining the crimescene a little later. Nigeria Soldier Caught Stealing IPhone In Warri

A young soldier was apprehended by traders at Gbagi Plaza which is a very popular plaza in Warri, Delta State for stealing an iPhone from a shop. (pictured being handcuffed by some policemen).     The soldier dressed in the camouflage unoform ofthe Nigerian Army ,he was reportedly beaten before he was rescued and taken to the house of a retired military officer.      From the retired officer’s house, the suspect was said to have been whisked to the 3 Battalion, Nigerian Army barracks at Effurun.
