So many Nigerians escaped death  as a female suicide bomber detonates bomb on New Year's eve in Borno New year soTragedy was averted, last night, in Maiduguri, Borno State, as a female suicide bomber blew herself up few minutes to the New Year. She had targeted a crowd at a tea joint, in Custom area of Maiduguri, opposite Sanda Kyarimi Primary School. The state's police spokesperson, Mr Isiaka, confirmed the incident, saying that those within the area, who were suspicious of her movement, took to their heels as she was trying to detonate the bomb. Only the suicide bomber died in the blast. “Preliminary details available is that only the suicide bomber affected. Now on standby for details soonest.”
