An Ado-Ekiti Magistrate’s Court has ordered the remand of 42-year-old JosiahJohnson in prisons custody for allegedly beating his wife to death for denying him sex. The prosecutor, Sergeant Oriyomi Akinwale, told the court that the accused committed the offence on July 3 at Erio-Ekiti in Ekiti West Local Government Areaof Ekiti State.He said that the accused, on the said date, unlawfully caused the death of his wife, Mrs Julianah Johnson, by beating her to death.
