News,Rapper Drake, 29, andRihanna, 28, have split because their feelings for one another weren’t  enough for them to be in an exclusive relationship.    This comes after the "Hotline Being" rapper declared his love for Rihanna on stage at the MTV Music Awards in August.An insider told the American news outlet:    “Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment. Death Toll rises to 21 in the U.S from Hurricane Matthew

A number of at least 21 people have died  as a result of the disaster caused by the Hurricane Matthew, which struck much of the Southe astern part  U.S. over the weekend and throughout much of last week. A total of 10 people were reported dead in North Carolina alone, said ABC News.      Hurricane Matthew which is the most powerful storm to hit the United States in a decade has  weakened and been downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone. There was a time , winds reached up to 100 mph and 15 inches of rain fell — which caused storm surges of up to 9 feet. While in South Carolina,residents there  have begun to go back evacuated to areas, including Charleston, rain has caused record-breaking flooding in parts of North Carolina,said the New York Times.About 1,500 residents of Lumberton, North Carolina, are in great danger after a levee breach, Governor Pat McCrory told reporters  on Monday, according to the Times. President Buhari has enough incriminating Evidence to jail Goodluck Jonathan,says Paden

    John Paden who is President Buhari's Biographer in his book ‘Muhammadu Buhari: Challenges of Leadership in Nigeria,’ stated that President Buhari has incriminating evidence against his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan.      In Chapter 20 page 203 of the book, Paden wrote:    “As of the early months of 2016, it appeared that the EFCC was not going after Jonathan. Price Of Rice To Fall in November

The Federal Government has revealed that the priceof rice would start to fall from November this year as they plan to boycott importation of rice.Speaking at a meeting with members of the Senate Committee on Agriculture & Rural Development on Monday, Oct. 10, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, said:    ‘We will not encourage rice importation and there is no way our ministry or government can be involved in importing rice when we are working hard to be self-sufficient in local production. By November when the full-scale harvest starts, rice prices will fall.’ Meanwhile, early last month, the government had warned that the price of rice might hit N40,000 abag. It is currently being sold around N20,000

The Nigeria Immigration Service has revealed that 154 Nigerians have been deported from Libya

It has been revealed by the Nigeria Immigration Service that 154 Nigerians were deported from Libya by the countries authority.    According to reports, the return the deported Nigerians was processed by the assistance of the International Office for Migration (IOM), which has been instrumental for the voluntary return of many Nigerians trapped in Libya crises. There were nine pregnant women involved in the deportation, three minors and three others with serious medical issues .In total there were 96 females and 58 males. The deportees were received at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Nigeria Police, Air Force Command and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

13 Presidential Candidates disqualified by Ghana's Electoral Commission

With the elections coming up in December 7th Ghana's Electoral Commission has disqualified 13 candidates from the race. This was announced by  Chairperson of the EC, Charlotte Osei who said the disqualified candidates failed to meet the necessary requirements.   WIth the disqualification there are  only four candidates in the race for Flagstaff House.These are:  Nana Addo–Dankwa, Akufo-Addo, John Dramani Mahama, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet and Jacob Osei Yeboah. The disqualified candidates have challenged the legality of the EC's action.
