NYC bouncers just may have a new way to crack down on fake IDs: Give prospective bar-hoppers a pop quiz about their birth year. The innovative age-verification system comes courtesy of tonight’s “ Middle of the Night Show ” — specifically, host Brian “Murph” Murphy bringing a very sleepy Adam Pally out to a bar during the wee hours for a game called “Battle of the Bouncers.” Standing outside the establishment, Murph laid out the rules: “Half the people in this line are over 21 and half of them are below,” he explained. “We’ll be taking turns to decide who gets in and who doesn’t. In Rivers Wike's supporters caution Peterside

A group allegedly sponsored by the Rivers state Government, Grassroots Development Initiative, have cautioned Dr. Dakuku Peterside, over comments he made about the Governor Nyesom Wike. Peterside alleged that the River state Governor, did not actually spend N30bn in the construction of roads, as he claims. Dismissing the claim, Mr. Samuel Nwanosike, the Secretary-General of Grassroots Development Initiative, said “A few days ago, we heard a very disappointing statement from Dr. Dakuku Peterside, who told the public that he did send out people to go and investigate the work done on the road infrastructure by the state government. “He (Peterside) said the report brought to him was that the work done by Nyesom Wike is about 10 kilometres of road. We are here to set the records straight. Albino Foundation Group attributes member’s death to National Hospital’s negligence , mgt. denies allegation

The Albino Foundation on Thursday alleged that a 21-year-old albino, Mr Sunday Haruna, died at the National Hospital as a result of negligence on the part of the hospital officials. President of the foundation, Mr Jake Epelle, made the allegation at a news conference in Abuja. According to him, the action of the National Hospital negated a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which the foundation signed with the hospital in 2012.
