If he becomes incapacitated, his successor can act as regent, according to the constitution. Akihito said that a regent may be appointed, most likely his son Crown Prince Naruhito, to serve in his place if he is seriously ill or incapacitated. But he stressed that the r

According to statement released by the command yesterday August 8th, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller, Yusuf Bashar, made the disclosure during an interactive session with some stakeholders in his office recently. Bashar said the situation is however beyond customs control as the exchange rates which they use to charge import duty is given to them by the Central Bank Of Nigeria. He said "It is instructive to note that the Nigeria Customs Service by its statutory role, does not determine exchange rate but only relies on the Central Bank of Nigeria to update us with information in accordance with its establishing Act. Lilly King proved that you can't cheat and come out on top when she beat out her Russian rival Yulia Efimova to win the gold in the women’s 100m breast stroke at the Olympics on Aug. 8.  Theae are details around her stunning win right here. So many issues have been coming up and on Aug. 8 it finally came to a head. Lilly King won the gold when she finished the women’s 100m breast stroke in 1:04.93. Her biggest rival,Yulia Efimova, was a very close secondwith a time of 1:05.50.We love seeing Americans take home the gold, but this win was more than that to Lilly, who has been beefing with Yulia for the past week. The Russian swimmer failed a drug test early in 2016, and was still allowed to compete which was controversial, especially since she had served a 16-month suspension once before. Lilly took it upon herself to do the job in beating Yulia to gold .see what she said   “I mean, obviously winning an Olympic gold medal is a statement,” said Lilly, thrilled with her g

Marriage vows are sacred not Nursery Rhymes

Image
Publisher of Genevieve Magazine, Betty Irabor, who has been married to her husband, Soni Irabor for 34 years, took  to her Facebook page to advise women to take their marriage vows seriously.  According to her. What she wrote below"What's in a vow? Two weeks ago, I had arthroscopy and as always, my hubby was by my side; just as he was always there through out my ante-natal days and two deliveries. Ask him what hour my children were born and he would give you the minute by minute details. He would have been in the theater for the arthroscopy if he was allowed. Before I was wheeled in, we goofed around and took pictures. He made me laugh so much that all anxiety vanished. As I momentarily looked back on the day Soni and I exchanged vows "to love each other for better for worse, in sickness and in health" I realised that many couples have no idea of the weight of those vows until one of the two partners faces some physical, mental, financial and emotional setback. Pogba disrespected the team that made him

Image
When Paul Pogba left Manchester United for Juventus, he was a 19-year-old boy with nothing on his CV. Today, he returns a man and he has the Italian giants to thank for that. After picking him up on a free transfer, not much was known about Paul Pogba. Everyone knew he had immense potential and everyone knew he had fallen out with Sir Alex Ferguson. However, when he took the field for the first time it was clear for everyone to see: The kid could play. Soon his fallout with Manchester United and his reported attitude issues had faded into the background and Pogba became a regular in the team. Fast forward four seasons into the future and Pogba at the age of 23, has won four Scudetti, two Coppa Italias and has been to one Champions League final. From being a relatively unknown youngster discarded by Manchester United to being one of the best in his position in the world. And instead of paying respect to the team that made him who he is today, Pogba opted for cryptic messages and silen
