Pope Francis Warns Against Politics Of Fear Ahead Of U.S Elections

In a speech delivered at the Vatican just three days before the U.S. presidential election, Pope Francis urged social justice activists from around the world not to give into the politics of fear by building walls but instead work to build bridges.“Because fear—as well as being a good deal for the merchants of arms and death—weakens and destabilizes us, destroys our psychological and spiritual defenses, numbs us to the suffering of others,” he said.“In the end,” he continued, “it makes us cruel.”     The pope did not mention the Nov. 8 U.S.  election, but many of the themes he touched on have played out in debates between Donald J. Countries Shouldn't Take in More Refugees Than They Can Accomodate,says Pope Francis

On a flight back to Rome from Sweden, pope Francis was asked about Europe's migrant crisis andhe said that even though countries shouldn't  'close their hearts' to those in need, they should be careful not to overstretch themselves. He told reporters:    'Governments must be open to receive them, but also do the calculations regarding their reception (capabilities), because one must not only receive a refugee but also integrate them. 'Because so many are arriving That there is no time to make provision for them and that they can find schools, homes, employment, and learn the language. Prudence has to make this calculation.'He also said that it poses a dangerous situation if the migrants are not integrated into their host communities.He added:'What is the danger when a refugee or migrant is not integrated? Recently Rescued Chibok Girl Handed over To Borno State Govt

   Maryam Ali Maiyanga and her 10-month-old son who were recently rescued by The Nigeria Army have now been handed over to the Borno state government. She was rescued near Pulka in Gwoza local government area of Borno state yesterday morning by troops. Speaking during the handing over, the Theatre Commander of Operation LAFIYA DOLE,  Major Gen. Lucky Irabor said Maryam had informed them that her predator and father of her son, was killed in one of the military operations at Sambisa forest."She revealed to our troops that her Boko Haram"husband" who is the father of her 10-month old baby named Ali was killed during one of the military operations in Sambisa Forest. I believe, and we are hopeful that all the other captives would be released. Women and children rescued as Soldiers clear Boko Haram terrorists out of Chukungudu Lake Chad fringes

The 7 Division Nigerian Army, Operation of the Lafiya Dole, led by the General Officer Commanding of the Division, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu, indulged in a serious  clearance operation into the remnants of Boko Haram strategic hub town of Chukungudu on the southern fringes of the Lake Chad Region, northern parts of Borno State between Friday 4th and Saturday 5th November 2016.     According to Col. Sani Usman,who is the Army spokesperson  the maneuvering Brigade led y 3 Battalion of 22 Brigade, successfully cleared Geram, Bulankassa and Chukungudu believed to be the Boko Haram terrorists stronghold in that area. The brave soldiers were able to rescue 85 people, comprising of mostly women and children held hostage by terrorists.     They were able to defeat 5 Boko Haram terrorists fighters in a fierce encounter that made many of the Insurgents running into the Lake Chad waters. The suspected murderer of a National Youth Service Corps member, Lawal Kontagora has been arrested in Kaduna State.Spokesman for the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP AliyuUsman saidon Saturday, thatthe kingpin was arrested on November 2.
