Ekiti Doctors' AccidentSurvivors say medical attention was delayed

One of the survivors of the accident that claimed the life of six Ekiti State doctors, Dr. John Akinbote, has blamed the death of the doctors on lack of immediate medical attention. FRSC says over-speeding led to the accident of Ekiti doctors » Akinbote, who also happens to be the NMA chairman of the state, made the claim while speaking with journalists on his hospital bed at St. Gerard Hospital on Monday, where the surviving doctors are currently receiving treatment.
