On Christmas Day it was Georhe Micahe and now it is Hollywood Actress Carrie Fisher, who starred as Princess Leia in the Star Wars series, died Tuesday  morning following a massive heart attack last week. She was 60.       "It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,"      Simon Halls, a spokesperson forFisher's family, Carrie Fisher was know to have struggled with substance abuse and talked openly about dabbling with marijuana at just 13-years-old and moving onto other drugs like cocaine and LSD by the time she was 21.     Fisher was married for a year in an infamously tumultuous relationship withPaul Simon, from 1983 to 1984. The partner of late British pop musician George Michael has told of how he found the star dead in bed on Christmas Day.Fadi Fawaz, 43, said on Twitter that he would never forget   "finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.""I will never stop missing you," he added.      Fawaz, a hair stylist, told Britain's Daily Telegraph in an interview that he was not there when Michael passed away."We were supposed to be going for Christmas lunch. I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed. We don't know what happened yet," Fawaz said."Everything had been very complicated recently, but Georgewas looking forward to Christmas, and so was I. Now everything is ruined. Award winning Actor and comedian Ricky Harris has died at age 54.His Manager  Cindy Ambers has said the comedian  died of a heart attack on Monday Dec. 26th.The Comedian whose numerous credits in television and film include Heat, Poetic Justice, Dope and Everyone Hates Chris amongst others.the likes of  Snoop Dogg Ice Cube and Chuck D, among many others, paid their respects on social media to the late comedian.

Lt Gen Tukur Buratai,the Chief of Army Staff has said that from 2017, the Nigerian Army will begin to use Sambisa Forest as one of its training grounds. The Army Chief said  this while speaking to troops in Damasak, Borno state yesterday. The Army Chief said that :      “We are also opening up roads to the forest – Sambisa, as well as Alagarno forest. This Sambisa forest is going to be one of our training grounds. Next year, 2017, I have already directed that we should conduct our Nigerian Army small arms championship in that forest. And we are going to useit also to test fire our fighting vehicles, as well as other key equipment and weapons that requires testing firing whenever we want to induct new weapon and equipment into the Nigerian army inventory.
