Suspected kidnapper nabbed, beaten and stripped in Lagos

A woman associated to be unified with the criminals » that have been behind the snatching of five kids in the Owode zone of Ikorodu, Lagos State, has been captured and stripped bare as her prize for the wrongdoing.

As indicated by somebody who saw the episode, the woman was gotten while attempting to escape with two kids she had kidnapped before a grade school.

It was accumulated that the suspect » had just about succeeded in carrying off the children yet for the cautiousness of a lady who saw her developments and raised an alert, pulling in individuals to the scene and the suspect was caught.

One of the youngsters' mom was apparently called to the scene to recognize if the lady was identified with her and it worked out that she was an outsider in the region.

While being investigated, the suspect described how she and her posse had been stealing a few youngsters in the zone whom they sold for N50,000 each.

The lady who drained plentifully from the beating, supposedly admitted that she sold the last youngster she stole at Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

On listening to that, the group brought out fuel and tires and was going to set the suspect burning, before some policemen came and protected her.

The police group was apparently assaulted by the group while attempting to save the lady with their watch van's windscreen supposedly broken.

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
