BREAKING NEWS NLC, TUC disregard court request, to continue on uncertain strike tomorrow

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Exchange Union Congress (TUC) have chosen to continue with the across the nation strike, starting on Wednesday, May 18.

The Lawyer General of the League, Abubakar Malami had documented a suit testing the proposed activity of the unions.

As indicated by Vanguard, the choice was come to at its the National Official Chamber (NEC) meeting, hung on Tuesday, May 17, at the NLC base camp in Abuja.

"Our choice not to suspend the strike was further fuelled by today's order by the Modern Court,restraining us from continuing on the strike anticipated that would start tomorrow," a source told the daily paper.
