If we are to judge by records ,Ronda Rousey had to worst beating in her career.It took Amanda Nunes just  48 seconds in their bantamweight title bout in Las Vegas on Friday to dispose off Ronda.
Talking about her loss for the first time in a statement released on Saturday night.She said:
   'I want to say thank you to all of my fans who have been there for me in not only the greatest moments but in the most difficult ones. Words cannot convey how much your love and support means to me".Providing a statement for ESPN she said,"Returning to not just fighting, but winning, was my entire focus this past year. However, sometimes -even when you prepare and give everything you have and want something so badly - it doesn't work how you planned. 'I take pride in seeing how far the women's division has come in the UFC and commend all the other women who have been part of making this possible, including Amanda,I need to take some time to reflect and think about the future. Thank you for believing in me and understanding" she said.

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
