Syrian Airstrikes Hit School in Northwestern Part and kills 35 people

The  Syrian Observatory for Human Rights have reported that airstrikes hit a school in  the Northwestern part killing 35 people, 11 children and 7 women inclusiveon Wednesdaynight-  and the death toll is expected to rise with many in critical condition.UNICEF, the United Nation's  agency for children, said that the strikes are a war crime.


    "It's a tragedy. It's an outrage. And if deliberate, it's a war crime. This latest atrocity may be the deadliest attack on a school since the war began more than five years ago."" UNICEF executive director Tony Lake said in a statement.According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the jets are Syria owned, but they could also be Russia owned as Russia and Syria have joined forces in the constant air attacks in war torn Aleppo area of Syria and many medical and educational facilities have relocated to underground bases to continue operating.

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
