Oscar Pistorious granted 4hr freedom to attend Grandmother's Burial




    Oscar Pistorius South African Paralympian .convicted for murder was secretly granted freedom to attend the memorial service of his grandmother.
   According to the Management of Kgosi Mampuru Jail, having considered the 29 year old as a 'low risk', they granted the Paralympian an exit of four hours to join his family at a boutique hotel for the memorial service of his grandmother, which took place on Friday, October 14, 2016.However, the Special treatment has sparked a fuss in South Africa, with several persons describing the treatment as 'white privilege'.
The Paralympian  is currently serving a six-year jail sentence murder of  his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
