Orlando gunman said 'I’m an Islamic soldier' in police call

The shooter who slaughtered 49 individuals at an Orlando

gay club depicted himself as an Islamic

fighter in calls made to police amid the assault.

A fractional transcript of the calls between police

mediators and Omar Mateen amid the three-

hour attack have been discharged by the FBI.

The 29-year-old said the war in Syria and

the France fear assaults amid calls to the 911

dispatcher.

Mateen passed on in a shootout with police after

powers raged the building.

The FBI said Mateen addressed a dispatcher

twice amid three telephone calls made around 30

minutes after he started the assault.

A FBI representative told columnists Mateen talked
