Trevor Noah to perform an extra show at comedy festival

Viacom Networks’ Comedy Central in conjunction with Savanna Premium Cider are set to present the ‘Comedy Central International Comedy Festival’, South Africa’s first international comedy festival featuring the best of African and international comedians. One of the main acts this year will be new host of ‘The Daily Show’, Trevor Noah, who will now perform for an added extra show!
Comedy Central Africa channel Evert Veer said, “Demand for tickets to Trevor’s upcoming gigs has been overwhelming, as everyone wants to see South Africa’s own global comedy star make his first appearances on his home patch since taking over the helm of The Daily Show.”
In response to the overwhelming public demand, Trevor Noah’s ‘Nation Wild’ gala will now take place on 25, 26, 27 and 28 November, with the Festival extending from 25 November to 5 December! This is great news for comedy lovers who haven’t yet grabbed their tickets but this only means that one needs to book those tickets ASAP!
Africa’s biggest comedy festival, ‘The Comedy Central International Comedy Festival’ now encompasses 19 comedy gigs over 6 days with more than 60 comedians across multiple venues at Silverstar, Johannesburg.
Tickets for the event are on sale now at Computicket and are priced from R120 to R650.
