Cristiano Ronaldo gets Five Match Ban for Pushing Referee in El Classico

The Real Madrid  talisman  would not have predicted  his night  at the Camp Nou will end the way he did.
The Portuguese  Captain  came in a s a substitute  in the second half due to lack of match  fitness  because  of his prolonged holiday  and he got on the scoresheet with a superb curler that beat Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stergen but  was red carded few minutes later.

The Spanish  Supercopa first leg was held at the Camp Not in Barcelona with the home team in the first  half  looking more likely to win the game. The first  half saw Barcelona  with more threats  at goal than their  wobbling  visitors

With the first  half  ending  goaless,Real Madrid  started  attacking  more than they did in the first  half and this resulted  to an own goal from Gerard  Pique. This would  be short lived  as Luis Suarez  was brought in  the Penalty  leading to a controversial  penalty which was scored by Lionel  Messi.
Cristiano would  score  a superb  curler  from outside  the penalty  box and out Madrid  back ahead of their  fierce  rivals.
With 20mins to go Cristiano was booked for a second yellow  card for diving  which would  lead to his sending off and prompting  him to push the referee which is a misconduct and  unacceptable  in the game.

With Madrid down to 10 men and Barcelona  pressing forward and looking  for the equaliser,it took a screamer from young Marcos Ascensio to seal  the game for the visitors beyond doubt through  a counter attack.

With  a 1-3 win at the dreaded Camp Not,  Los Blancos go into the second  leg  as favourites to win the Spanish  Supercopa but will have to do without  their  star man who has been slapped  with a five match ban and will miss the second  leg at the Bernabeu and miss the beginning  four games  of the new LA Liga season.
