High School Students want African-American History Course to be a ful year coursel


Some studenta from a High School in Jacksonville, Florida have been making some noise regarding the African American history course at their school. Students from Terry Parker High School protested to make their African-American history course a full-year course. This past Monday, students staged a sit-in with the hopes of bringing attention to the lack of diverse academics within the curriculum. The students were protesting to have the half-credit, one semester-long black history course change into a full-credit, year-long course.
