The protest and chaos in South Africa over free education has added another arrest of nine persons after there was an overnight clash with police on Saturday.
The protest which followed days after a special team had been set up to combat the situation with South Africa President Jacob Zuma threatening to shut down several schools.
A supermarket was looted and two vehicles were set ablaze at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Shirona Patal University Spokesman, confirmedand gave details of the arrest of the nine people arrested, two are students at the University of the Witwatersrand, also known as Wits, two are from other universities and five are not students.’
