Herdsmen attack Village in Kaduna over 20 persons killed

   Herdsmen attacked a military outpost at Godogodo village in Kaduna state that resulted to the killing of over 20 persons and two security officers.
    According to residents ofghe village, the attack started on Saturday October 15th and then continued into yesterday Sunday October 16th which saw the herdsmen attacking surrounding villages in  Jama’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State‎.
    Humble Katuka who is the Interim Chairman of the Local Government Managing Commitee ‎, has declared a 24-hour curfew in the area.Also Confirming the attacks Aliyu Usman who is the spokesperson of the Kaduna Police command, said two officers were killed during the attack at a military outpost in Godogodo.
     He vowed that the police will arrest those who carried out the attacks.he said
   “Last Friday, same armed men ambushed our  men around Godogodo, killed two officers and fled. We shall surely get them soon”he said.

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
