A fuel tanker transporting more than 10,000 litres of gasoline has just been involved in a horrendous road accident along Benin/auchi expressway at a popular junction called "Ehalen" junction in Esan west Local government,Edo state. Eye witness report states that, the tanker carrying huge volumes of gasoline lost control and skidded off its lane before colliding with a tipper carrying granite and two saloon Honda EOD cars carrying a family off to school and work. On lookers quickly tried to assist the accident victim's escape the impending explosion before the gasoline tanker ignited and exploded in flames that rose and clouded the morning sky,it was sighted about one kilometer away. Local police and fire service just arrived the scene nearly an hour after the incident but was of little help, No deaths have been confirmed yet as the victims were said to have been rushed to the hospital by "good Samaritans" weather anyone was burnt before help came is still unknown, we'll keep you updated as the story progresses

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
