After Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce news shook Hollywood to its core, he is finally facing everything head-on.
The actor released a statement revealing how ‘saddened’ he is by the entire situation.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is thewell-being of our kids,” he said in a statement to PEOPLE. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time".
Angelina, 41, filed for divorce from Brad, 52, on Sept. 19 less than one month after their second wedding anniversary.The actress called it quits on their relationship after they spent more than a decade together. Angie’s attorney,Robert Offer, released a statement on her behalf Sept. 20, per Harper’s Bazaar. “Angelina has filed for dissolution of the marriage. This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting,and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time.”In the divorce we EXCLUSIVELY obtained, Angie cites “irreconcilable differences.” In the 11-page legal papers, she is asking for full physical custody of the couples six children, and joint legal custody. There is no mention in the docs of demands for child support for their children or herself. There are also reports that Angelina was fed up withBrad’s parenting “methods.”
Brad and Angie have three biological children — Shiloh, Knox, andVivienne and three adopted children, Zahara, Maddoxand Pax. Their love story started when they met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smithin 2004, while Brad was still married toJennifer Aniston, 47. He and Jen divorced in 2005, and Brad began dating Angie not long after.Following his 2012 proposal, Brad and Angie married in August 2014.
