The All progressive Congress, APC has responded to claims by the People Democratic party stating that it made arrangements to
control aftereffects of the Edo Governorship Race by midnight.

Responding to the cases by PDP, the APC National vice chairman (South), Mr.

Segun Oni , basically said " The PDP is essentially being insidious. "

Talking further, Oni said: " From the outcomes I have seen from the field, from where we are checking the races here in Abuja, the APC is in an agreeable lead.

"Out of a hundred, the PDP has not won five, even in units they claim to have won. We are examining in light of the fact that the quantity of voters surpasses the quantity of enlisted voters per unit," Oni clarified.

Loaning assurance to Segun Oni, the Edo state Director of APC, Anselm Ojezua , rejected PDP's cases saying just the Autonomous National Appointive Commission maintains all authority to decide the victor of the race.

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
