Angelina Jolie to become a professor at Georgetown University
So cool!!!!.....one of Hollywood's most powerful women Angelina Jolie Pitt will teach in Georgetown University but what course will she take on as a professor?.
She is married to one of the most sought after men in Hollywood, she is an Oscar award winning actress, a humanitarian ,I believe this is now added to her achievements .
Georgetown University students will likely be more excited than they have ever been maybe in their entire life to head back to school next semester since Angelina Jolie, 41, will be teaching at the Washington D.C. based college.
The actress will be filling a guest spot, according to US Weekly, and is set to share her knowledge on the world in “lectures, workshops and research focused on women, peace and security.” Is this not fantastic, Angelina previously signed on to be a visiting professor at the London School of Economics this fall and was invited to do the same spot at it’s sister school, Georgetown.
Melanne Verveer, the executive director of the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security voiced her excitement to recruit the By The Sea star,
“I was pleased to meet with Angelina during my recent trip to London [in May] on ways we at Georgetown University can continue the collaboration between our sister programs.”
Jolie was feeling great about the opportunity, “I am looking forward to teaching and learning from the students, as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations.” She added, “It is vital that we broaden the discussion on how to advance women’s rights and end impunity for crimes that disproportionately affect women.”We think Jolie would make a very good professor, especially considering the fact she is a mother-of-six.
In July, reports surfaced that she and her hubby Brad Pitt, were adopting a seventh child to help mend their alleged marital troubles. Brad and Angie are Fantastic and Happy parents, so we’re sure they would make another child very happy! In the mean time, she can look forward to teaching and inspiring students.
