Leicester city's Ngolo kante joins Chelsea for 30m

Chelsea have marked Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante on a five-year bargain for a charge accepted to be in the district of £30m.

The protective midfielder joined from Caen the previous summer for £6m and went ahead to show up in Leicester's Premier League-winning effort.

Kante, 25, was a piece of the France squad that achieved the last of Euro 2016.

"I am so cheerful to have marked for one of the greatest clubs in Europe. It's a blessing from heaven for me," he said.

Kante is Chelsea's second marking of the late spring after Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi joined from Marseille.

"The chance to work with Antonio Conte, a splendid mentor, and a portion of the best players on the planet was basically too great to turn down," said Kante.

Foxes get club record charge

Leicester said they acknowledged a club record charge on Friday before Kante settled terms and finished a medicinal.
