Gulbarg slaughter, court jails 11 people for life
A court in India has sentenced 11 individuals to life
in jail for their parts in a famous slaughter
amid the 2002 hostile to Muslim uproars in Gujarat.
Of the 24 individuals sentenced for the supposed
Gulbarg Society killings, 12 were imprisoned for seven
a long time while one man was sentenced to 10 years.
Amid the assault, 69 individuals were hacked and
smoldered to death by a crowd.
More than 1,000 individuals, generally Muslims, passed on in
the mobs, started by a flame on a train that murdered
60 Hindu pioneers.
