Couple burnt to death by armed gunmen in benue state

News reports have uncovered that a man and his better half have apparently been smoldered to death in their home in Benue State by obscure shooters.

The pair distinguished as Mr and Mrs Joseph Msen Akosu were assaulted and killed on Saturday, May 28, 2016, after which they had set the house ablaze, smoldering their bodies to the point of being unrecognizable.

The grisly killings allegedly occurred in Abinsi, Guma LGA of Benue State.

The explanations for the devious demonstration are yet to be illuminated yet it is being conjectured that the assault had been as an aftereffect of some area debate among the Tivs.

Security organizations are accounted for to have assumed responsibility of the region with a specific end goal to keep the peace, while the Director of Guma Nearby Government zone is allegedly doing everything conceivable to convey the offenders to equity.

May their souls rest in peace.

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
