Gunmen abduct local community head chief in Kogi

Unidentified shooters have hijacked the customary leader of Elete town in Kogi,c chief Aminu Aku.

The News Office of Nigeria ( NAN) assembled that Aku was seized by a group of five covered shooters at around 8:30 pm on Friday in his town situated on the Lokoja-Ajaokuta interstate.

The occurrence came scarcely 24 hours after the seize of two chieftains of the Kwara part of the APC on the Lokoja-Okene street.

Aku, a second rate class conventional ruler, was said to come back from a capacity at Ajaokuta and was simply landing from his auto when he was snatched.

He was consequently headed out in a vehicle brought by the abductors.

NAN learnt that the shooters had as of now called to interest for a N10 million payoff.

The state Police Chief, Mr Yakubu Usman , in any case, said that the snatching of the customary ruler was yet to be affirmed.
