former member Spice-girl, Victoria Beckam says her mic was intentionally turned off during music shows
At the Vogue 100: A Century of Style at the National Portrait Gallery exhibit, Victoria, 42, said
"I got the last laugh, and now my mic is well — and truly on, finally.”
"I was always the one that loved fashion," Beckham recalled at the event. "It was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap. And so, there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress."The mother of four has eventually gone on to create her own luxe label, which is now a go-to line for celebs.
Along with the panel on Thursday, Beckham also enjoyed the honor of being featured in the Vogue 100 exhibit.
The former pop singer shared a photo of herself and her eldest son, Brooklyn , in front of the portrait, which features her alongside husband,
David Beckham.
In the intimate throwback snap, the then-pregnant Victoria and David cuddle on a carpeted floor. The picture was taken by fashion photographer Juergen Teller.
Spice girls are planning a reunion tour to mark the 20th year of their existence, although it would have to be without Victoria, who insists that she is too busy for such.
