FIFA president,Infatino to visit Nigeria in june

The Nigeria Football Alliance (NFF) on Sunday reported that President of League of Universal Football Affiliations (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, will visit Nigeria in June.

An announcement issued in Abuja on Sunday by NFF's Aide Executive of Correspondences, Ademola Olajire , said that the visit was a drop out of NFF President, Amaju Pinnick's late meeting with Infantino in Mexico.

The announcement said that amid the visit, the FIFA president would visit President Muhammadu Buhari

furthermore go to the last of the NFF/Zenith Bank Future Birds Title.

``He will likewise have a night with Corporate Nigeria and additionally have an interractive session with a crowd of African FA Presidents who will likewise be in Nigeria to get him,'' it said.

It included that Infantino trusted that Nigeria was a major nation and an enormous football-playing country that ought to help with ``the new FIFA initiative's drive to really build up the diversion''.

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
