Premier League Liverpool held by West Brom, Tottenham beaten by Newcastle United

Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw at home to West Brom while Tottenham's unbeaten run ended with a 2-1 defeat to
Newcastle United at While Hart Lane in
Premier League matches played on Sunday, December 13.
The Reds started their game brightly as they hosted West Brom at Anfield.
They should have gotten their first goal in the 15th minute when an Emre Can pass that was aimed for Christian Benteke fell into Phillipe Countinho 's path but the Brazilan midfielder's half volley went over.
Coutinho was however involved in Liverpool's opener; his diagonal pass to
Adam Lallana was headed down for
Jordan Henderson to apply the finish.
West Brom got the equaliser from a Simon Mignolet 's error.
The Belgium goalkeeper spilling a Chris Brunt's pass into the path of Salomon Rondon before Craig Dawson smuggled the ball in from six yards.
West Brom got into the lead in the second with a Jonas Olsson header in the 73rd minute.
Liverpool threw everything forward looking for an equaliser and got it in the dying minutes through Divock Origi .
Spurs who have not lost a game since their opening day defeat to Manchester United were beaten at home by Newcastle United.
They took the lead through Eric Dier in the 39th minute.
He escaped Fabricio Coloccini with a run to the near post and headed a Christian Eriksen cross in to the net.
Harry Kane got the chance to double Spurs' lead but could not get on a low cross from Danny Rose with the Newcastle defence beaten.
Newcastle got their equaliser through
Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 79th minute after coming off the bench to tap the ball over the line after a goal mouth scramble.
Ayoze Perez latched onto a knockdown in second half stoppage time to fire in the winner across goal for Newcastle.
Steve McClaren's Newcastle jump out of the relegation zone moving up to 15th place while Spurs missed out on the chance to enter the top four.
