Kristen Stewart Is Ready To Bring Lizzie Borden’s Famous Murder Spree To Life

Kristen Stewart is getting back to her suspense story roots by helping to bring one of America’s most heinous historical crimes to cinematic life.
The actress, who got her big break in the heart-pounding 2002 thriller “Panic Room,” will star in the true tale of Lizzie Borden, a woman who was infamously tried and acquitted of murdering her father and stepmother with a hatchet in 1892.According to our sources KStew will portray the family’s live-in maid Bridget Sullivan, who testified at Borden’s trial and may or may not have actually been home during the grisly attacks. Chloë Sevigny will portray Borden herself.
The Lizzie Borden trial was most recently tackled for a TV movie starring Christina Ricci, titled “Lizzie Borden Took an Ax” after the creepy AF children’s rhyme that spawned from the incident (“Lizzie Borden took an ax/ and gave her mother 40 whacks/ When the job was finally done/ she gave her father 41″ — sweet dreams, kids!).

Four Feared Dead in Ivory Coast Crash.

A cargo plane has crashed into the sea off Ivory Coast, close to Abidjan airport, killing four people and injuring six. The wreckage of the turboprop plane, which was carrying ten people, was swept toward a beach where rescuers treated surviving crewmen on the sand. All four of the dead are Moldovan while four French nationals and two Moldovans were injured. Local police told AFP the aircraft had been trying to land when it crashed. According to local news site Ivoire Matin one person was taken into custody after the crash. It is unclear if they are a member of the crew. Reuters news agency reports that the plane crashed during a storm with heavy rain and lightning. The plane was a Ukrainian-made Antonov chartered by the French army as part of its anti-jihadist Operation Barkhane, a French military source told AFP
