Bala Mohammed the immediate past Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, was reportedly arrested by the Economic Financial Crime Commission  yesterday October 24th.            According to Vanguard, he was arrested over suspected multiple criminal breeches, questionable schemes and alleged breaches while in office. His arrest followed a number  of petitions filed against him by individuals and group since 2013.

The EFCC on Monday, October 24, 2016 arrested  one Sunday Evbodaghe and his company, Sunnivik Rivera Nigeria Limited, and brought them before Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of the Lagos State High Court on a 4-count charge of stealing, forgery and obtaining by false pretence.

The  stepmother of Diana, Princess ofWales, Rane Spencer has died on Friday, aged 87 after a short illness. Countess Spencer died on Friday morning at her London home, William Legge her son, the Earl of Dartmouth and a Ukip MEP, confirmed to press men.In a short statement the family said:  'Raine, Countess Spencer, died peacefully at her home in London on 21st October, 2016, after a short illness.' She met  Earl Spencer, Diana's father, when she was a young Conservative councillor where she was known for her enormous bouffant hair, pearls, scarves and grand tones. They married in 1976 and remained together until his death in 1992.         She was born in 1929, was the only daughter of her parents, Alexander McCorquodale and the novelist Dame Barbara Cartland.

Police in Sterling, Virginia arrested a woman who poured a cleaning agent into an office coffee machine causing several former co-workers to become ill. 32-year-old Mayda E. Rivera-Juarez was arrested today and faces Felony Assault charges.Investigators say the incident happened over the course of several weeks at her former place of employment in Sterling.
