A man, Long Vang, 34, is being accused of homicide after his girlfriend Jessica Damian Haban, 28, who is the mother of his two kids and partner  for a long time, carried out suicide in their home. A North Carolina woman, Melissa Nell Kitchens, 45, has been arrested by Buncombe County police for allegedly having sex with her 25 year old son Shaun Thomas Pfeiffer .The mother and son, both of Ashville, whoface felony incest charges, were arrested last week and could both face up to three years in jail. They allegedly had a sexual relationship last month.Melissa is being held on $5000 bail while her son Pfeiffer was being held on $70,500 bail, according to the Buncombe Sheriff's office.    Lokpobiri Heinekein  the Minister of State Agriculture has said if Nigeria fails to begin the process of producing its own rice, the cost of a bag of rice may shoot up to about N40,000 by December this year. He said this at a town hall meeting in Bayelsa state  yesterday September 10th. "For your information, we spend about $22bn a year importing food into Nigeria. We know how many more dollars they bought and that is why you see the price of rice going up. Price of rice was may be N12,000 some months ago, but it is now about N26,000 and if we don’t start producing, by December it could be N40,000.Rice matures in three months.
